Presidential Election

Here are some things we can be sure of:  Regardless of which of the candidates is elected, it is still God in whom we trust;  regardless of which of the candidates is elected, we are very likely to continue in a time of economic instability;  regardless of which of the candidates is elected, four years from now people will still be saying that we need change (that always happens;) and, regardless of which of the candidates is elected, he will be our president, and it will be our biblical duty to pray for him.

Here is something we can do now:  Pray for wisdom as we carry out our responsibility to vote; fulfill our voting responsibility on voting day; and, don’t worry (the Bible tells us not to worry.)

Here is something we can do next Wednesday morning:  Rejoice and thank God that the election is finally over!  Aren’t you tired of it?  Me, too!
