Guest Information
We are delighted to have people visit with us in any, or all, of our services.
Where should you park? We have reserved guest parking in the parking lot nearest the street and front entrance of the building, on the south side of the building.
What should you wear? You will not feel out of place wearing comfortable clothing that you would wear to a restaurant or a school program. You will see ladies in both dresses and pants suits and men in both suits and casual clothing.
What version of the Bible is used? The pastor preaches from the New King James Version, and our pew Bibles are of that same translation; however, you will never be criticized for your use of any translation of God’s word.
What time should you arrive? You should arrive about 5-10 minutes before the service you plan to attend.
Which door should you enter? The two main entrance doors that are used are the front, sanctuary door, and the center rear door. There will be people to direct you exactly where to go from either of these places.
Where should you sit? We have no assigned seating, and no one claims any seating as their own; in other words, wherever you sit will be fine.
Are you expected to pay anything? Absolutely not. Our church and its ministries are supported by the tithes and offerings of our members. Although the offering plate is passed in each worship service, any giving on your part is strictly voluntary.
How is the best way for you to get to know people at the church? Many of our people will introduce themselves to you and welcome you, but the absolute best way to get to know some people on a more personal level is to get into one of our Bible study classes. These classes meet at 9:30 on Sunday mornings, and not only provide an important Bible study time, but also a great time of getting close to people in your own age range on a small group level.
